Professional Standards and Commercial Agreements
1. Agreement of Services
By commissioning services from Metaphrase Ltd, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. We provide certified translation, interpreting, and transcription services as per the specific requirements agreed upon in the initial quote.
2. Professional Standards
All linguistic tasks are performed by CIOL-certified professionals. We guarantee accuracy and cultural relevance but are not liable for legal consequences arising from the use of translated content in jurisdictions outside our expertise.
3. Payment Terms
Standard payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified. For new clients or large projects, an upfront deposit may be required before work commences.
4. Cancellation Policy
For interpreting services, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at 100% of the agreed fee. For translation projects already in progress, the Client is liable for the work completed up to the time of cancellation.
5. Confidentiality & Liability
In accordance with our ICO registration, we maintain absolute confidentiality. All documents provided are stored securely and shared only with vetted linguists bound by NDAs.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
