These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By commissioning our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement of Services
By commissioning services from Metaphrase Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms apply to all translation, interpreting, transcription, editing, and related services provided by Metaphrase Ltd.
2. Professional Standards
All services are delivered by CIOL-certified professional linguists to the highest standards of the industry. While we ensure the utmost accuracy and quality, our liability is limited to the value of the service provided in the event of any dispute.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may require advance payment (part or full) for new clients or large projects. Rates are agreed in writing before commencement of any work.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full, particularly for interpreting bookings. Work completed before cancellation is notified remains payable in full. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
5. Confidentiality
All client data, documents, and information are handled with strict confidentiality in accordance with UK data protection laws (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). We are registered with the ICO. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
